Mini Monsters is a Private Day Nursery and Pre School offering high quality day-care to 41 'Monsters' aged between 0 and 5 years old. We are situated at the Bennetts End shops in Hemel Hempstead. We are open all year round, Monday to Friday, 7.45am - 6.30pm and offer full-time, part-time, term-time and flexible places, subject to availability. See our fees page for session times.

We acknowledge that choosing who looks after your child is one of the most important decisions that parents will make and therefore the most difficult. We demonstrate a genuine, caring commitment to our 'monsters' as their welfare is of paramount importance.

We have created a happy, homely, intimate atmosphere for our children by keeping the groups small - this provides lots of space to play, as well as ensuring a high level of staff attention for your child. Our aim is to create a fun and stimulating environment for your child to learn. We are committed to working in close partnership with parents. The main nursery is made up of 4 spacious, bright and child focused rooms to accommodate the various age groups.

• Baby Monsters: Birth to 1 year (6 places)
• Tiny Monsters: 1 - 2 years (9 places)
• Mini Monsters: 2 - 3 years (8 places)
• Pre School: 3 - 5 years (18 places)

We also have a separate, LARGE INDOOR PLAY ROOM, which is used by all age groups and houses our big play equipment (i.e ball pool, climbing frame/slide, bikes etc). This ensures children are given time to let off some steam, to stretch and develop physical skills. We also understand the importance of fresh air; because of this the children are invited to go out twice a day, posting letters, buying bread, going to the park and nature hunts are just some of the many activities they do whilst out.
